Wow, what a beautiful ring...and HUGE!! It covers the entire span of your finger. I love it. By the way, it''s fine to say you the ring designer was, please do so that folks here in LA know of another great designer. Wish your mom a happy anniversary for us.

That''s a spectacular stone and an exquisite setting!

That thing is a big, beautiful monster!!!!

Wowza! Now that''s what I call "finger real estate coverage!"

What an amazing ring for your mother.

one word: Gorgeous.

Ok I''ve got two more shots. I took a different profile on my hand and a flower shot.
I think that''s going to be it because my parents are about to go to Europe for vacation.

Another beautiful shot! Your parents ought to think about leaving the ring with you for safe keeping while they''re travelling.

The leaf shot.
Now if I can only convince my boyfriend to get me a stone that big, lol :)

Thx Stone Hunter, actually the jeweler educated us about the jewelry industry so much and took the time to explain craftsmanship. His pieces are completely hand forged every part of the ring you saw was hand made right down to the prongs holding the stones. He basically creates one of a kind pieces and I was impressed with how passionate he was about the quality.

Any chance you can say who it was? Is it Peter Norman by chance? He does very nice work that reminds me of this setting.

What an impressive ring! Do you mind sharing the name of the designer/jeweler? I''m in L.A. and would love to know!!

Ok. Dan the jeweler called me back today to tell me that it was ok to share his info. His full name is Daniel Williams. His email is danwilliamsjewels at hotmail.com. He''s a very nice guy and it was really a pleasure for us to work with him. I''ve actually become friends with him talking back and forth over the last few weeks. I''m going to have him do my engagement ring as well with probably a 1.5ct square radiant or possibly an ascher with a halo around it. I''ll post the pics of the ring when it''s complete in a month or so. He does mostly custom work for people but I honestly haven''t seen his craftsmanship anywhere else.

Just had to drop by, after seeing this ring in the eRing thread, to say "DAAAMMNN!!"

Lol. My father is in international commercial real estate. Deals cocaine on the side:) I''m just kidding.
Thx everybody for your kind words. I''m going to post a picture of my ring too when I get it. Dan''s work is amazing. I''m kind of spoiled now, I don''t think I could settle for anybody else making my engagement ring.
