#JOTW Over The Moon for "Lara" My New 6.59 ct. EC From IDJ In Her Forever Home!!!

Somebody better be ready to revive @Matthews1127 when she sees these hand shots!

@Blingalingaling Words! Where are my words?!? I’ve lost them over this stunning beauty!!! I’m an old cut lover, but this EC is just so absolutely phenomenal in every way, that I can’t help but add her to the “love it!” list. :love:

I love hydrangeas too, @AprilBaby! I wish I knew what these are, but I planted them several years ago and I don't know their names! I bought them at Home Depot and planted them myself! Sometimes at the end of the season I cut some and dry them! They look beautiful all year round!

I love hydrangeas too! I got mine also from Home Depot 2 yrs ago and this year I didn't get flower from my white one.

I think the traps are 6mm tall (N/S) and 4mm wide (E/W), so 4mm would be the width across the stone. I'm not sure what the measurements are at the ends toward the shank, (going north/south), but I will ask Sophie, my jeweler. They appear to be a little wider than the width of the shank, so I think they probably are about 2.5mm or 3mm at that point.
I'm excited for your ring, too! It's been fun taking this wild ride together!!! :)

GORGEOUS!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful plants - and your stunning bangle!!! Sometimes it takes a couple of years for flowers to bloom on a new plant! But I'm sure they will blossom next year!!! :)

This is so helpful to know as we thought my traps were to wide-east West. They are 3.9-E/W, very similar to yours which is perfection! The traps I posted are 6.25 north south touching the EC, 3.45 north /south touching band and 3.9 E/W. Yours is obviously HUGE so hard to compare but so helpful. I just want yours now!! If you could check the other measurement I would be so grateful!

Thank you thank you! Well at least I know I love your taper and yours are 6 x 4, and the ones David found are 6.25 x 3.45 so actually a little bit more angled. I can’t wait to see your length east west. So incredibly helpful to me since we have similar ring designs!!
