Will it fit?

We shall see. The mounting was originally made for a 6.5-7mm round, I think? I think the scalloped halo makes it look better with the tiny gaps than a plain halo would? If that makes sense? I'm certainly going to have my jeweler take a look at it.

(I actually don't really like the setting with a round stone in it, if I'm honest! Attaching a pic.)

I think when another PSer looked at Mc2 for a potential setting (TravelingGal, about her pad sapph) they said somewhere between $7-10k for the setting that she inquired about. I can't remember the exact amount or which setting she asked about. But it should be in her thread because that's where I remember reading about it.
