Tomorrow I will pick up my new Leon Mege ring
with a 2.07 ct Paraiba, sourced by Perry. I cannot
wait to see what the ring looks like in real life!
It was actually the Caribbean see that inspired me
to find a sea blue Paraiba. And, although I already
have a ring with french cut sides, I decided to have
french cut sides again for this ring. This time
antique high dome french cut stones and with a
straight non-tapered shank.
My inspiration ring was Missydebby's gorgeous piece
with antique cushion center stone. Thanks for the
inspiration Missydebby!!
I bought the center stone without having the
possibility to view it in real life. I have actually
never seen a Paraiba in real life before and I had to
rely on 4 pics and no video. I will find out soon
enough whether I love it in real life. The pictures
are very promising and I am so looking forward
to see it!!
Thank you Leon and Perry for creating such a
beautiful ring for me and sourcing the stone
On to some pics the jeweller in Antwerp made (the
has been send to Antwerp by Malca Amit where
Diamond House has taken care of all the customs
hassle on my behalf):
