About the Paraiba comparison: that's a difficult one. The stones have such a different appearance so it would be comparing apples with pears. In general I have a huge weak spot for greenish blue Paraiba's compared to windex blue. Also, I have a weak spot for cabs: I love their softness and understated glamour. The glow is there in both stones.
I might answer your question more clearly when I have lived with it for a longer while.

I'm back for more photos! I love the color I was thinking that I'd wear it everyday if I have something in this color. Then I realised that the dome is rather high and the top of dome is more sharp than flat. It'd be a shame to scratch such a lovely gem. Do you intend to wear it daily? You have many lovely gem stone rings. Do you wear at least one of them daily? How do they hold up? I love your collection. The colors are saturated and varied.

Good question! I usually wear my CS rings for 1 or 2 weeks in a row. I am extra careful with certain stones, like the Paraiba's and my blue zircon. I do wear my rings from dusk till dawn but I do take off my more vulnerable stones when I work in the garden etc.
I used to whack my hand a lot, but I now seem to be more careful on my hands so I just enjoy the rings I have by wearing them.

arkieb: the faceted blue almost seems to pale a bit in comparison: the cab is bigger & bolder and does not have a window. The green also looks more saturated.

In order to make a honest comparison I have to live a bit longer with the cab. The lighting conditions in which each ring flourishes is also different I think.
