Patrick Irla Peridot Birthstone ring...

It's so delicate and pretty! Looks great on you!

Your peridot ring is just beautiful Rissa Lou! Looks really lovely on you!
Peridot is my birthstone too and you are making me want to do a peridot project now. I think I have enough projects to last me a decade at least.
Enjoy your new rings and wear them in health and happiness!!!

It's really beautiful! Perfect setting for that lovely stone!

Wowza. His hydrangeas have gotten ridiculously small! When he was making mine, they were the smallest he dared. It's absolutely perfect! More pics!

Thank you
I would definitely think about indulging in a Peridot birthstone project, if only so I can drool over more Peridot :wink2:

So... jstarfireb and frekechild, did you have any problems with your rings? I wore mine all day and now my finger is turning green :o
this has only ever happened to me with cheap costume jewelry. I have other quality silver pieces that I wear all the time and this has not happened with those silver pieces. Any advice?

:errrr: Oh no, I wonder what's going on with your skin chemistry? I hope there's something that can be done to fix the problem (though I am woefully ignorant about metals and such). The ring is so beautiful, I'd hate to hear that you're unable to wear it. :nono:

Love your ring! I've been looking at Patrick's peridot rings and am trying to figure out what I would like to have one day.

Sorry about your finger turning green.....

Lori

I think with time and experience, he is now able to make the hydrangeas much smaller, which looks great.

Ask him about the alloy he used for your ring; the alloy for both the silver and gold. Not all metals share the small alloy type nor same percentages used even though they are the same karatage. It is also possible that he is now using a different metal alloy in order to refine his pieces to make them smaller and delicate.

okay, so I actually got to talk to Patrick today and he is the coolest nicest smartest jeweler ever! He spent about ten minutes explaining various different reasons why this could be happening. So we'll see how today goes. His pieces are 92 point something silver and copper, so we think the copper might be reacting to the lotion I wear. He told me a cleaning solution for the ring. So I'm going to clean it and go without lotion and see what happens. He told me to keep him updated and he 'll keep working with me until we have a solution, even if I have to send it back to be plated which I don't want to do unless I have to. I would definitely recommend him to anybody. My FIL has family in MI so the next time we go out there I'm going to plan a quick trip to his shop. Apparently he only makes the Hydrangea' s for his Etsy shop and has almost 50 New designs in store that I think would be really cool to see.

Very pretty!

Great follow up customer service. :appl:

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that the ring turned you finger green... :(( I hope it's just the lotion you're using and hopefully it'll go away soon. Patrick sounds great to work with, please let us know how it turns out!

That's really pretty! I love the touch of the little blossoms on each side!

Good news! It (the green) went away and did not come back. :appl:

Thank you so much! :praise:

Beautiful and very bright stone, and a very nice setting.

I'm so happy to see the problem with turning your finger green is resolved because it's such a beautiful ring! I have a soft spot for peridot since it's also my birthstone. It's too bad PI isn't taking outside stones anymore. I have a Barry peridot that needs a home! :appl:
