Not loving the sides quite as much. If you wanted other options, I am in love with three stones right now and I have been think a lot about three stone pears. For one that size I think I'd go long bullets or baguettes.... personally I'd go bullets and ask ERD to do it. Well priced and there quality and claw prongs are to die for

I'm talking about one like the oval three stone that is the second down

I think it is beautiful just as it is! I happen to love the pear sidestones...

If you are not loving the whole three-stone look... I think a delicate halo would look divine.. it should be very delicate though, because a 3 carat pear is rather large (not sure of actual dimensions), and you wouldnt want to take away from the pear, just enough to really enhance it. Gosh that would be so lovely too.

Either way, I love the way it currently is!

Make it into a funky solitaire and use the sides for studs. Or halo it...then halo the studs too.

I think it's perfect as is, I love a well done three stone with pear sides, especially if the center is a pear! The ONLY way I'd re-set it is if you put it into this mounting (keeping it a three stone) :

I suppose i am in the minority, the side pears just a little poorly proportioned for the center (a tad too long) and based of a picture they look a little crooked (that could very well be the picture, if so dont mind me! )

I just think its a lovely ring that could turn into a STUNNER with a either a new setting with some more delicate prongs, or a new setting with new sides stones.

again i feel bad i dont want to make it sound like i dont like it, if i saw that in real life i would probably drop my jaw... BUT, if youre asking could it be made even better yeah i think so.
