If looking specifically for pear spinels, be prepared for a really long wait of months to at least a year, unless any colour will do (but I highly discourage dismissing colour consideration). A small pear of 6x4 can get away with 5 prongs but a larger stone, at least if you care about it not chipping, should have a V tip.
