I love Asprey and their design heritage, such as their huge jewelled calla lilies. They also have a wonderful silversmithing history and they still make incredible objects in sterling silver, such as a solid silver money safe. However, they have not extended their jewellery design to silver, until now.
They have just created a lovely silver pendant, which I saw when I popped into the new Asprey store in Boston today. The chain is 18-inch and thicker than I'm used to. I usually wear only 16-inch and very fine chains, so it's quite a different look for me. The price was comparable to Tiffany at $250. I'm thrilled with it, and very pleased to have a piece of Asprey silver without breaking the bank over it.
I rather like the logo as it's very discreet and can hardly been seen in real life, but the pendant is the same front and back so I can always flip it over, should it ever bother me.
The packaging was a Christmas cracker, so now I've got an Asprey balloon and a silver paper crown, too! And a piece of paper with the following quite from Somerset Maugham: "At a dinner party one should eat wisely but not too well, and to talk well but not too wisely."

I've taped the balloon to the TV so I can see it - the balloon is a lovely purple - and hung the crown over the TV's other corner. Might as well enjoy them and get my money's worth!
