I don''t know about everyone else, but in my head, I can imagine showing up and trying to identify people by their bling! LOL...I''m sure that could create an awkward situation for a random person in the lobby who happens to have a really nice ring or two!

Oh no... finally a Philly get-together and I can''t be there!!

Unfortunately I am out in Kaleigh and DF''s neck of the woods on Thursdays, seeing clients... so no Bistro St. Tropez for me. But I''d be especially upset if I missed a Rittenhouse lunch date... I could have showed you all the exact spot of my proposal!

Devon might be a good future meeting place... yummy seafood lunch menu, private cozy atmosphere (for picture taking!), and right on the square. I occasionally have Fridays free from classes/work, so maybe next time...

Oooh I do love Brasserie, but I was thinking of Devon, the seafood place right next to Rouge... my friends and I practically live there in the summer when you can sit outside overlooking the square...

It's less pretentious-trendy than Rouge can be, but consistently yummy food... not to mention it is WAY too convenient from my apartment building.

But Le Bec Fin has some good weekday lunch specials... that could be a fun option too... hmmm. I am a Philly restaurant-fanatic... maybe this should become a regular thing!!

ETA -- AND I almost forgot about the hot chocolate sommelier at the Ritz-Carlton... one of my favorite winter activities... that would be such a fun get-together!

There are garages, and there are meters on Market Street too...the Marketplace is about one block from 30th Street and there are lots all around. It is supposed to be a nice day and warm too...

Belle, you look so adorable!

I have fairly long blondish hair, and light skin and blue eyes. I will probably wear jeans. There are seats in the lobby of the design center, opposite the desk where the receptionist sits. We will meet there at 11:45 a.m. I wish Dani and Ephemery could come too, but we will just have to plan another one!

Haha... not dumb at all... I temporarily forgot Devon was a town as well as a restaurant!! I am far too food-centric...

I will actually be in Rosemont... so "neck of the woods" just meant general Mainline vicinity.

I wish I could! But unfortunately I''m accumulating hours for licensure and only out there 3 days a week, so my days are packed pretty full... no sneaking back into the city early enough for lunch.

Then on Mondays I have class all day, but Fridays are usually pretty flexible... so maybe next time!

Actually right now I'm primarily doing college counseling at Rosemont College, but I am certified in school counseling and did an internship a few years ago at Radnor High School, so I knew several students that came and went from Agnes Irwin! Radnor was fantastic, but if I were ever to go back to school counseling, I'd definitely lean more towards a private school setting (despite the sacrifice in pay!)... and there are so many excellent ones out in that area.

Okay, I hate to be another party pooper

, but I am going to have to beg off for tomorrow as well...Some part of my brain conveniently forgot that I have about 90 essays to grade (plus assorted quizzes) and my marking period grades are due next week. Since I have the day off, I think I should stay home and put a dent in them.

I am really sad though, since I was really excited to meet some PS people in *real* life! I promise I will try to make the next one!

It was nice to meet Madame B...we just grabbed lunch, but it was fun. Camera batteries were dead from my son''s 5th birthday party last Sun and of course my dh never thinks to put them on the charger when he sees the low battery indicator!!! Hopefully next time even more of us can hook up...
