lovely spinels.... now I think I know where all the lovely ones have gone you and Chrono

and nice pics with your ipad. I must experiment with old digital camera and android phone... probably need a tripod as pics aren't clear, hence picture of my dog, Cu Bear.

Thanks so much Wordie89, that last stone though is a med-light violetishblue sapphire. A tripod def helps... all the posted pics were taken without one however. It was easier to just lean the iPad on the couch or wall in order to keep things still. It was also a pretty bright day so the shutter speeds were decent enough to keep things sharp

And Chrono has MUCH better stuff than me! Her's and the collections of others on this fine forum are an inspiration to me
