Hi,

I need some advice on a diamond I intend purchasing and narrowed my search down to 2 stones (brilliant round shape). Both stones are GIA certified. I'm not sure which of the following 2 will be the best option:

Option1:
color F, 1.3 carat, Ideal cut, VS1
Excellent Polish and symmetry
L/W ratio - 1.00, Depth - 61.5%
Table % - 58%, Fluor - Strong Blue
Measure - 6.99x7.02x4.31mm
Girdle - Medium, Cutlet - none
GIA cert#6131817705

Option2:
color E, 1.27 carat, Very Good cut, VVS2
Very good Polish and Good symmetry
L/W ratio - 1.01, Depth - 62.6%
Table % - 56%, Fluor - Faint
Measure - 6.84x6.92x4.31mm
Girdle - Medium, Cutlet - small
GIA cert#6135754414

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Post GIA report numbers and confirm exact carat weights (x.xx)

GIA report numbers now on original post. Thank you for your help

Neither. Proportions combos, girdle, symmetry...

Must you choose one of these specifically? TBH my first thought was that they're the types of stones you see at the top of the list when you search a large inventory for a given set of parameters and click the "sort by price" button - the devil's in the details. If you share the parameters you searched by we can help you find some more promising candidates... or are you shopping in-person at a local establishment?

VVS is unnecessary - drop to VS unless it's a mind-clean thing for you (knowing that you have a very high clarity stone)

Thanks for your reply. Your thought is correct! These were using BN online. To give give you an example I saw the following stone in person at a local establishment - GIA report# 2135470205 and loved it but way over my budget and significantly higher than stones I stated below... Then I went online using the following parameters E or F stone; 1.25 to 1.30 carat; VS1 and above; and very good cut (similar to the one i saw in person).

Please suggest other suitable candidates.

Again, your help is appreciated!

E/F VS1+ is really unnecessary

F VS2 and below is where I would start looking.
