I had such a great time! It really was nice to meet some fellow PSr''s, and I hope to go again in May and meet a few more!

I never thought I could reach a point of being "blinged-out" as in seeing too much, but honestly I was totally overwhelmed by the end of the day...you know the line "visions of Sugarplums danced in their heads"? I had visions of diamonds dancing in my head all night, LOL!

Fun pics! Thanks for posting these - it seems like everyone had a great time.

you guys are all too cute, the pictures are fab!! i totally agree that when you are done with a day of bling and visiting with PS'ers you feel so exhausted. it's like a bling hangover.

monnie, you are a beauty girlfriend, i don't know why but i thought you were a short dainty girl, which now that think about it is BLOODY INSANE because you are always talking about how you have a really long inseam!!!! and i know we have had convos about being tall. doh! first thing to go is the brain.

Great pics! What fun!

Monarch, what color nail polish are you wearing in the pics? I''ve been into the "dark nails" as of late, but I need a pretty pale shade to wear with a green dress this weekend (holiday party).

Thanks!

Mara, I can safely say "short and dainty" are two words that have never been used to describe me, LOL! You are too funny! And I really have to apologize to my fellow gem show PSr''s for making you all look smaller in stature because I wore like 3.5" heels, and I''m already 5''10". But they went with my outfit!!!

So although it may look as if I were towering over everyone, really I was cheating a bit.

Giada: I THINK it''s Essie Ballet Slippers. It might also be Mademoiselle, though... I had about 5 pinks I was trying on to see which one I liked the best, and it''s definitely one or the other of those, and then for sparkle factor I added a coat of Cover Girl clear glitter polish on top. (Friday night I was in Atlanta for a black tie event).

Well, I''m a shorty to begin with so.................

It''s not hard to make me look short!

DJ~LOVE the new avatar!!!!!

I have to admit I was a little blinged out myself, LOL. Maybe that's why I always find what I end up buying at these shows right in the beginning--when my eyes can still distinguish one sparkly thing from another!

Monarch, I'm with IrishAngel on this one, you are a little taller than we are.

But those boots you had one were marvelous! How you managed to walk around the whole show with 4" heels I'll never know.

(Irish - thanks about the avatar. It took A LOT of snausages to get this pic!)

Yay for having such a wonderful time together!! THanks for sharing all the pics -- you are a great-looking bunch!

As far as the routine jewelry - I too get to a point where it no longer matters. As for other things - I could easily have continued. Another thing... A guy with such a great group of gals never gets tired of everything. Thanks for the great company. See ya all arround.

Thanks, Monarch! I have Ballet Slippers and Mademoiselle, which is a bonus. Whichever it was, it really looks great with your skin tone.

Sounds like so much fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures

Oh yes... the infamous car ride... I was afraid someone would ask.

First some background. Let me start by saying that I'm not really one for following the rules. So when I got to the hotel where we were meeting for lunch I realized my only parking options were to pull into the gated lot and pay $18 or park in one of the spaces designed for 15 minute check in only -- WARNING! YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED! So I parked in the 15 minute spot even though I know we would be there an hour or two. (I did check with the front desk when I went inside to make sure I wouldn't get towed.) Everyone else, being good citizens, parked in the lot, so when it was time to go to the gem show I suggested that the other PSers leave their cars in the lot and I would drive us all over and pay for the show parking.

Let me also say that the parking situation at this hotel is convoluted at best. So we all pile into the car and I get us out of the spot I was in (between the wall and the snow bank) and we were off!

The most direct way to get out of the parking lot had a DO NOT ENTER sign, which I saw at the last possible second, so we backed up and went around to what seemed to be the next best place to exit the lot (under normal circumstances I would have just kept going, but I did have the lives of 4 other people in my hands) and set off for the gem show parking lot. Which was *the next* parking lot. Exactly *one* lot over. Approximately 100 feet. Maybe less.

Wait! Logical (cheap) people that we are, when we realized what was going on we all said forget that, we'll just park back where we were and walk over to the show. Of course by now I'm out in the middle of the multi-lane quasi-highway with cops watching my every move. So I did the most reasonable thing under the circumstances--I swerved back into the driveway for the hotel (where another car apparently decided NOT to heed the DO NOT ENTER sign and was traveling in the wrong direction) and reparked the car between another wall and a snow bank (also in another 15 minute only parking spot--I figured they weren't paying very close attention to the lot or I would have been towed long ago) and we left the car there and walked over to the show.

The whole time Monarch, Catmom and IrishAngel were in the back set petting my mink purse with such vigor that I'm surprised it didn't start purring, and poor Perry, who was in the front, was alternately clutching the dashboard and the grab bar above the window, but a good time was had by all, LOL.

(That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

Hee hee, DeeJay is actually a very good driver. For all 20 ft. I experienced driving in the car as her passenger...LOL! In all seriousness, she''s right, the hotel parking situation WAS convoluted at best, and basically the other 4 of us were pretty annoyed at having to pay the $18 that could''ve been put in the sparkly fund for stupid parking! Ah well...such is life! I have to say I was more worried about walking over some of the icy spots on the sidewalks getting into the gem show than I was over her parking situation...

Thanks again DeeJay for "driving!"

DEE JAY,

Thanks for posting all the beautiful pics!!! I love the ear rings!! It''s wonderful to be able to put a face to the avatars. We should hold a pricescope conference in Antwerp. Any takers??

And Catmom''s diamond and sapphire eternity band. Gorgeous! I want one of those so badly!
