Hi again! Here is a pic of my e-ring (I''ll post 2 more from different angles too, but I''m new, so don''t know how to post more than one at a time!) I''d like to have a ring enhancer with a halo made for my wedding band, but I am still struggling with the design, and I have NO IDEA who could make a custom peice like that. Can anyone offer any suggestions or opinions. Thank you all so much!!

I think your ring is just lovely as it is, and I do not think it will work to try to use a halo enhancer with it. I think a wedding band to match it would look best, or if you really want a halo, it just needs to be reset. You'd cover up a lot of the pretty parts of your ring by putting an enhancer around it. Not to mention I think a princess halo looks best set the regular way, to be honest.

ditto!!! have you tried on your ring with wedding bands?

Thank you so much for the compliments and your opinions! I''ve been having trouble finding a wedding band that is thin enough to fit flush against the band (it can only be about 1 to 1.5 mm height above my hand). Any suggestions? Would you go with a plain band or an eternity band?

Are you sure there isn''t a band made to go with your ring? If not, I think it will require trying on a lot of different bands to see what will work. I think you probably will not find one to sit flush, though. I don''t really mind that personally, because I prefer that over a curved band, but you could try those, too.

i think a thin and dainty pave band would be lovely. but DS is right, that going and trying some on would be the best way to determine which you like best. I don''t think you''re going to get a flush fit either but a tiny gap wouldn''t bother me. if it is something that would bother you, you could always have a band custom made to match with a small notch to allow for the flush fit.

I think that your ring is just too pretty to cover up with an enhancer...and I am just not seeing how it would really work either. If you are considering custom for a halo enhancer, then maybe you could just consider a custom wedding band. I think that a thin pave band would look beautiful! This website has several bands (curved and straight) that you may be interested in. Good luck!

I do love the idea of a really thin pave band like this one: http://www.estatediamondjewelry.com/item.cfm?int_item_id=536&cat_id=11 but I have a few concerns...

1) Would something this thin (1mm) withstand everyday wear and tear?
2) I''ve only been able to find this online, so I wouldn''t have a chance to try it on with my e-ring before buying.
3) It just seems like the micro pave price is a bit inflated. I don''t mind paying that much at all, but the similar channel set band: http://www.estatediamondjewelry.com/item.cfm?int_item_id=273&cat_id=11 is about 1/2 as much, and the larger pave band: http://www.estatediamondjewelry.com/item.cfm?int_item_id=464&cat_id=11 costs the same.

Any thoughts?

I normally don''t like princess cuts, but yours in GOREGESS!!! OMG BEAUTIFUL! You don''t need to change a thing!

Your ring is so beautiful just by itself. Such lovely detail. But probably the best is to just go to a bunch of jewelry stores and try different bands on and get an idea of how they would look with the ring on your hand.

Your ring is gorgeous! I love the detail! I agree with the pps...you definitely don''t want to select a band that hides that beautiful detail.

I love the detail and I love the angle that the diamond is set into... I do think a nice small pave band would look really nice with your ring.

How thick is the shank of your ring? It looks 2mm-ish. I think a 2mm pave or bead set with milgrain band will look perfect.

I love how your princess is set!

i think your ring is so unique, i have not seen any princess stones set that way...i like it alot!

I love it as is, but if you wanted the halo look you could get two custom rounded pave bands that went around your stone. However, I agree with the others that a simple or pave wedding band would look best. Your ring is stunning by the way!!!

I have to echo leaving your ring the way it is. It''s really unique and beautiful. I also ditto the suggestion of trying a bunch of bands on in person first. This seems to be a setting that needs that. Do you have any antique stores in your area? If so, try looking there, along with all the jewelry stores.

I think your ring is very unique! I wouldn''t detract from it by adding a wrap.
