yes I''m a WG kind of gal. My first e-ring was platinum and the scratching and dullness drove me CRAZY. Now my new e-ring is WG too. I just love it and I love the weight. I''m all for spending most of my budget on bigger and better stones

I''ve had issues in the past with white gold turning yellow on me quickly and I have to get it rhodium plated pretty often. But I got the WF scattered diamond band in white gold (as a RHR) and it must be a higher quality mix since I''ve only had it re-plated once (and that was because I scratched it up and I thought it looked like it needed it). My ering is still platinum. Hopefully it''ll be ok to have the eternity band in wg and the ering in platinum. I''m actually having my ering sized up a quarter of a size and having the eternity band made that same size so I''ll have a little more breathing room in them in the summer.

I don''t think it will matter that the ring is in WG because you really don''t see the prongs. It''s really well made and all you see are those ACA''s

You can always have the e-ring rhodium plated when you replate the white gold band and then they''ll look the same!

Maybe you need some pretty WF studs to go with your rings. Whatever you do, keep it quiet and don''t share it with me! Just kidding - this will certainly be all I get (other than cheapo silver pieces) for a while! I have a feeling that this new eternity band is going to feed the "I need a bigger stone in my ering" syndrome. But I will not speak a word of that for a long time!

I won''t even MENTION jewelry to my husband...lol. He did tell me the other day..so when will you want a bigger e-ring stone? I told him I really loved it and it''s my dream ring..so no trading it in BUT that for our 20th anniversary (in 7 yrs) he can buy me something HUGE for my right hand!

I agree..it will inexpensive pieces from now on. I actually bought myself a nice one! (only $65) but it looks real

My order has officially been placed and they have my $$$$ !! I ordered a size 5 so it''ll have 20 stones for 2 ctw (wow, that seems HUGE to me!!). I got my ering back, now also a size 5 and it looks sooooooo shiny. They did a great job. I can''t really tell the difference in size from the 4.75 to the 5. They cleaned the stone really well and it looks fantastic. Somebody wake me up in two weeks when the new band gets here! I''m so impatient.

I sooooo know how you feel!! I had to wait 6 weeks before I got my hands on my e-ring and to make matters worse I had no idea what it looked like beacuse my other half had ordered it without me seeing it first - it was worth the wait but the waiting nearly drove me crazy - I was like a mad woman possessed

i got my eternity ring from a Facets sale - and i''ve never seen a deal like it before or since. they''re F/G stones, 20 of them, .135 each, 2.68cttw - raphael platinum set, and it cost me...

$2850.

i last saw that same ring for sale on Facets for $5200 - and i cant even imagine how much it would cost on Tiffany.

as soon as my reset engagement ring is done i''ll be putting up pictures. until then - you have my very understanding sympathies!!

i was pretty surprised when i saw it too! it was just a regular facets sale about 18 months ago. it''s a size 7.5, so larger than normal, but not a hugely strange size or anything, so i cant really account for it.

yay luckytexan! Ring triplets!!!! Do you get yours sooner since you''re picking it up? I would LOVE to live close by WF. But that would be so bad for my wallet... the bad thing is that you have to pay sales tax. But I''d take that trade-off!

One thing that''s interesting - even though this is now a stock item, they don''t keep the settings in house. They get the setting from their vendor when someone places an order and then they set the stones. I thought they had everything in the store but they don''t. So that explains the wait I guess.

I have no idea if WG is harder than YG but I do know that Chris Gonzales (the man who helped me at WF and also who''s working with Katiedid) is very helpful. We actually discussed having it shipped to my mother in FL and then back to me... but I figured for what it''s worth... we get to meet Chris in person (he''s just lovely isn''t he?) and we will get to see the WF facilities (can''t wait!) and we won''t have to wait for FedEx/my mother/USPS...

I have a question.... what ring is in your avitar? I thought you already had a u prong eternity!

I am so beyond excited! I just finalized the order yesterday so I don''t have any dates yet... but I will keep everyone posted.

Now I need to get back with Wink Jones on getting my Royal Crown going!

luckytexan, you''ll have to say "hi" to Chris for me too! My avatar is an eternity band with 3 pt stones. It''s not u-prong, it''s the basic shared prong (scalloped look on the sides). So this new one is my upgrade! I''m going from 3 pt stones to 10 pt stones! But my 3 pt band is .84 tcw so this new one is just over double the carat weight.
