anyone have this ring? any type of side stones- half moon or round. if so could you post pics of the ring alone or on the hand, preferably with center stone size?

I have the three stone endless love with ruby sides. I purchased it at DBOF. Jan is great to work with. The ring gets many compliments.

oh i love it! i want to get one with the half moon sapphires and have a sapphire center stone. On there site i didnt see ruby side stones. how did you get those? did you just request them from the company? i dont know much about customizing rings like that

if the side stones came from ritani, are you happy with the ruby quality? im concerned about the quality of the sapphires only because id want my center stone to match mt sides and i want a vivid center stone.
 
Nashville, what size is your center stone and side stones- i am in the process of ordering this ring but I am so uncertain as to the sizing, i love the way yours looks on the hand.

Can anyone estimate the sizing if the original poster doesn't post. I am aiming for a 3 stone sapphire and I need to start sapphire hunting but this rings center stone appears much larger than the .5 centers i see everywhere

I did search her older posts, sadly she only has 8 posts and none offer the speks :(


Anyone want to guess? Am i crazy for thinking it looks bigger than .50 center and .25 sides?
 
Her side stones seem smaller relative to the photo of the 1ct with the .5 on each side.

I am thinking .75 center and .25 on each side? Any input? all 3 of mine will be sapphires but I do want the center one to stand out from the crowd
 
I wonder if visually a halo of diamonds on a sapphire emphasizes the as is size of a sapphire. On a diamond I know that a halo makes it appear much larger, but on a colored stone am I correct to assume that the emphasis is on the as is size?


This diagram is helpful , they all look so similar in size, the difference is not as noticeable as i anticipated.
 
Precisely. A diamond in a wv halo is going to appsar larger because it all melds together. CSs wont have the same effect because your just framing it if you really want kt to pop id go for the 62% ratio.

I imagine getting 3 od the same xolor sapphires to be difficult.
 
if i go with 1ct sapphire center and .25 on each side, will the ring appear huge? I am size 7.75-8 with longish fingers. I really do NOT want a huge ring, i want everyday wearability and my lifestyle is not of someone wearing huge jewelery (toddlers, gym, laundry, preschool drop offs, grocery shopping) .... i am not doing these things in beverly hills either, so i want it to fit in with who i am.

my ering is a 1.5 classical tiffany design . and the 1.5 is quite substantial on my fingers as is but not too big. would a 1ct sapphire with halo be much bigger in diameter?

itll have a lot of finger coverage, but i think it wouldnt look garish or overwhelming at all, i think it would be nice in those proportions

The center stone is .80 G SI and the rubies (.30) are ones that ritani supplied. It is a size 6 and it runs big. Hope this helps you out.

I am a big fan of the ritani three stone halo and look forward to seeing yours when its finished.
 
in about 10 weeks .. trying to find correct sapphires. Mainly going for matching pair, and close enough center, which i am okay with. I am however torn on the size , should I up the size a little to get the same look since my ring finger is 7.75-8.

right now based on ct size i am looking at 5.5mm center and 3.5mm sides. Should i up to 4mm and 6mm given the ring size?
 
Yes i would up it to the mm size of a 1ct and try to keep the same center to sides ratio
 
this is going to be an odd question but i never did this jewelery thing before, i just got an email with images of some stones they found for me..... is it rude of me to basically say i want bigger stones now?

No its not rude at all, its your money your spending it should be perfect.
Are you comfortable with heat treated? i feel like thatll make it easier to get similar colors. Personally I would want them to be as close as possible, "kinda" close i feel like wouldnt be enough for me. I would let it take as long as it needed to to get the right stones.
