Thank you for all of the kind comments.

I had the setting custom made from my local jeweler.

As for the pictures, i used my Nikon D50 on macro mode with a 55mm lens and tripod. I took the picture outside at about 9 am with just the sun light, that is why you see the hard lighting and shadows.

I will be sure to get hand shots when/if she says yes

The band is 3mm in width.

The band is 3mm in width.

oh, I thought it was thinner than that. I guess the knife-edge makes it look thinner.
