Hey, everyone!

I would like to ask if you can post images of the Harry Winston halo that he does. I am looking to get as many images as possible to compare it to the Victor Canera Emilya. Yoni's prices are more affordable, but I have a keen eye for detail.

Here is a glamour shot of the ring:

If you have non-glamour images, please post them up to help me better view the ring at different angles and under different lighting.

Thank you!

Hi, nielseel. Thanks for your post.

I do like that, but I like the one by Yoni a little more. It's so hard choosing without going to look at it, huh?

Hi, nielseel.

I haven't, but I just did..haha.

Wow, Pricescope has sooo much info!

I like the ring I posted, but I am going to get it in round halo.

What exactly is a Harry Winston anyway? Is it just a halo cushion with a thin band and split shank from the base?

Harry Winston was a famous American jeweler. The name Harry Winston is now a brand like Tiffany or DeBeers. The style of ring you are referring to is called 'the one'.

Here is a round with micropave halo.

Depending on your budget, there are several vendors who can do this for you. As for real life pictures, just google image search "round halo engagement ring". More often than not the pictures are from PS and you can click through to the thread about it.

I have never heard of the company you mentioned.

I recommend looking at the Collection of Halos thread. There are 12 + pages of halo rings by different companies. Perhaps this will narrow it down.

As far as vendors if VC isn't in your budget I would go with ERD and have them remake the ring you like.

Hey, all! Thanks for your replies.

I figured Harry Winston has become synonymous with the type of halos you posted, but had to clear that in my head..ha. I do like the round you posted.

VC isn't out of the question, but I was just curious if Yoni would be equivalent in what I want from VC without the price..haha.

you might as well wait a lil bit and see how mine turns up :D

Eternity by Yoni used to be called Eternity Diamonds. A few PSers have settings from them. Their pave work is decent, it's not bad.

I am..haha. I read a lot of reviews from people who had settings made from Yoni, and I haven't found a bad review yet...that's why this is getting hard between Yoni and VC. ERD is a nice site too, and I will inquire on prices soon.

Hi, Laila. Thanks for writing in. What do you mean their pave work is decent? Have you seen them? I guess, I don't know how a pave can be excellent vs decent? Is it the amount of metal showing after the melee diamonds are set? Please educate me, because I need to decide soon.

Do you know/think it is going to be the same level as VC?

Thanks!

Hi,

I used to have a pave halo setting from them. By 'decent' I mean it's well done and it looks nice. It's not on the level of like Leon Mege or Victor Canera who are $$$, but it's perfectly adequate and pretty. I thought for the money, the quality was good. I am kind of frugal when it comes to settings (I've been through SO many), so even though I can afford it, I did not want to go with a more pricey setting, and that is why I chose Eternity. The average person probably wouldn't even see a difference between ERD, Eternity, VC, etc. Only us PSers with eagle eyes would maybe notice.

Laila, have you seen a VC or LM or Steven Kirch in person?

Would you say ERD is better than Eternity by Yoni?

Thanks!

Hi,

Nope, I've never had the pleasure of seeing a VC, Leon, or SK ring in person. Only on PS!

I'm not sure, but I'd probably say Eternity and ERD are on the same level. But again, I've not seen an ERD ring in person. They sure look nice in photos though!
