As you requested, here are some other shots of my ring. This is fun!

I got the ring from my "private jeweler" who I have worked with since I got engaged in 1986. She does a lot of custom work. I selected the stone, then we tried it in several settings and this was the one we liked best. I had a hard time choosing between this setting and one that looked very much like the Cartier (1865?). In the end both my husband and I liked this setting the best because it was a little different, and the stone sat lower than it would have in others.

We''ll get an eternity band for Christmas. After that I''d like my jeweler to make me two sapphire bands to wear either on both sides of my diamond ring, or with the eternity band when I don''t want to wear the big stone.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary next month, and I recently got a new ring to celebrate.

The center stone is 2.43 RB, H, SI1, and the side stones are .25 each. I''ve been obsessively taking pictures, and think I finally have a few to post. Finding the macro setting on my camera really helped.

We spend a lot of time at football games and on the golf course. It''s crossed my mind that maybe a packed football stadium isn''t the best place in the world to wear a big diamond.

I will admit that I''ve worn my new ring to a couple games, and the stadium lights make the stone do AMAZING things!
