Without actually reading the thread like I probably should be doing , why not try reaching out to someone, and asking if they can send you a couple of stones to see so you can select the one that suits you? (they may be a bit busy and say no. But it is worth a shot).

edit: or alternatively
(you may need to hunt a bit more, concavegems if they reload their inventory would be worth a look.)
I still think something light pink in colour with plenty of facets would be the go to for a sparkly pink ring.
While I can see a lot of people proposing spinel above -- you may need to cut the size down and look widely to find something suitable as there has been significant administrative issues with the exporting of mahenge spinel material recently and it seems to have made the material recently hike in price.
Another stone for you to consider is morganite. It comes light pink in colour and could be much cheaper.
Oo I don't think I can sacrifice cut if I want sparkle. Size and color, yes, but not cut.
Try Mastercut Gems
Their prices are really reasonable and their cutting is great if you're very pedantic about cut.
@voce I'm pretty sure prices on my pink would not be as high as you would think because quite honestly, its not really that big and can be extremely shifty. That said while well cut it would NOT be everyone's cup of tea! Some want their pink without purple for sure.
Rubellites of course will have a premium (they always do) but if a person doesn't mind that shift to salmony pink or purple, they could end up with a really lovely stone.
Jerry at Gemart had 2 ginmormous ones for sale that were more of a steady pink than mine. Now those were 2500 dollars (rightfully so considering!)

http://www.stevorocks.com/Home/Detail/5372737 Deeper and much bigger than mine (price reflects this)
https://www.litnon.com/index.php?page=viewgem&id=11632 baby pink (or mostly) and bigger than mine.
So there's no shortage of well cut stones. But well cut with steady non shifty color...thats another story.
I will admit, I got lucky when I purchased mine because apparently no one else wanted it...lol
Really liked working with Michael over at gemline (Litnon). I'm always looking over there. I find that some of his images are hard to read but he's got a good return policy, never an issue with him.I got the sparkly pink sapphire for $300 from LoupeTroop. I like the stuff others have linked you. Litnon is a good vendor for bargains. I got a pink tourmaline 8x6 oval from them (slightly included) for $100 or so.
