Pink spinel Earrings from Heart of Water

Hi Everyone,

I just got these. The stones are emerald, pink spinel, moonstone, pink spinel. The spinels are from Tan, by no means perfect stones, but they were very affordable and are pretty in their settings. All in all I am very pleased. The workmanship is great, the earrings are very delicate and super-dangly, which I wanted them to be.

Here are a few more pictures. I just love spinels! I put the earrings in a spot of sunlight and they went crrrrrrazy with fire and scintillation. I'm also starting to like moonstones as accents more and more. They usually look white and crisp. Then all of a sudden, there is that flash of blue magic.

Your earrings are lovely! Your color choice and shape/size line-up is wonderful; the milgraining is a perfect complement to the design; and the length is just ideal, long enough to dangle prettily but not so long as to affect their versatility.

And thank you also for the great close-ups and the modeling photo -- I've wanted to see better pics of HOW's hand milgraining, and your photos and your earrings really show what a beautiful effect it gives.

Those are absolutely beautiful! I luurve multigem pieces, but about 95% of them look corny to me. Those few pieces, like this one, that really work just knock my socks off. Love them!

Marymm: This is their chunky milgrain. You see even a closer look of it in the sold section in their store, there are pics of these earrings that aren't in this thread. They also have a very delicate style, seen for instance in the Iolani rings, around the sidestones

Bluebirrd: The earrings measure about 5cm from hook to tip of pear, that's approximately 2 inches. The moonstones and the emeralds are 5mm wide, the oval spinels 6mm and the pears are almost 8mm long.

Chrono and yennyfire - ear shots are mandatory, absolutely I was aming the camera blindly at my ear, asking my daughter to tell me when it was in the picture. Heh.

Atwater and Arcadian - oooh, thanks I'm a visual artist so I looooove to hunt the stones and then design all of these unique pieces, with the help of all of these talented designers. And can I say that Tan's auctions are absolutely a great source for multigem pieces. I have one pink spinel necklace in the works with Sally and it would never have been possible without the auctions.
