PS has caused me to catch the jewlery making bug.
So I have a new project in mind, but my stone knowledge is not vast enough to execute it. So I turn to my friends at PS.
I am looking for two stones, one a Garnet and one a Topaz. I want one stone to be pink and one stone to be green.
What I am looking for guidance on is which stone should be which colour? Should I go with a Pink Topaz and a Tsavorite? Or a green topaz (does such a thing even exist?) and a Rhodolite? Any other variations of either stone will give me green or pink?
I would prefer natural, but I'm ok with treated. There are two pink topazes on John Dyer's site that look amazing, but I'm not Warren Buffet.
I'm also looking for sources. I know it takes some time to find the right colour, I'm looking for sites I should stalk in order to find the stones I should be looking for. I know some sites are better for certain stones than others.
Oh they are for a pendant, so wear and tear is not as much a issue.
Thanks for any help given.
