This is my cat, Onge. I have to poke around at home to see - I have pics of her sleeping in my son''s crib. I had the crib set up when I was about 8 months pregnant and she would climb into it to sleep. Once my son was born, I could NOT keep her out of his room! I had people telling me to keep the cat away from the baby, etc, but never once was she mean or jealous with him. She had a litter before I had her, so I like to think that she was remembering what it was like to be a mommy. And once my son started walking, she would watch him and yowl when he was getting into something. There was one time that I went into the kitchen for a single minute - just a minute - and in that time, my son had crawled over to the lamp. Onge flew into the kitchen and did this freaky dance and went "MeowmeowmeowmeowMEOW!" I ran into the living room just in time to keep my son from pulling the lamp down on himself. My son is 7 now and Onge is around 12 or 13 and she still trails him around like a dog.

This is my other kitty, who lives with my parents. I might have to get rid of her though,

my father doesn''t want her in the house anymore and I can''t bring her to our current home because she''s indoor/outdoor. She''s such a love though! When she''s not bringing in baby chipmunks.

I used to have a cat that looked JUST LIKE yours. Her name was Daisy. She used to bring in chipmunks, too. Sometimes, they were alive! She also brought in garter snakes, a baby rabbit and various birds. It used to skeeve my mom out! Our vet said that a cat that brings you "presents" is showing you how much he/she loves and respects you -- because they''re basically sharing what they consider food with you.

You could bring her to your house, even though she is partially outdoor. Most of my cats have been indoor, but I did have one that was intended to be indoor, but wanted to go outside. My yard at the time was enclosed and I had a clothesline, so what I did was put a harnass on her and attached her to the clothesline. She was able to navigate most of the yard, but not escape to the (very busy) road in front of my house. Contrary to popular belief, cats can also be taught to walk on leashes; I''ve had several of those. And in the house that I owned with my ex, we had a screen porch off the back of the house. In the summer, the cat would mostly live out there by her own choice, as it was like outside, but safe.

Yeah I too used to have a cat like Nebe. The breed are called "Tuxedo cats" and they are adorable. hehe I miss mine a lot but because he was an indoor/outdoor kitty he was eaten by a coyote.
