This lady kept staring at me and asked if I would take a picture with her so I thought I''d accommodate.

Ok, Rhino...what I wanna know is WHY was she staring? Like was it an exchange of phone numbers and addresses, or was it just the bling that was near you?

While at JA did you happen to see the Twin Towers commemoration piece by Nayna Mehta? Rap news had these photos but I''m hoping to see some other shots as well.

Any photos on the Rhinocam?

Here are some details for those interested: 14,080 princess cut diamonds, measuring 1.4 mm each were used to create the towers. The base and supporting structure are 18k yellow gold. It took 38 artists and jewelers 25 weeks to create. A percentage of proceeds from its eventual sale will be donated to a charity supporting 9-11 victims. The base is engraved with a poem written by the designer in memory of the lives lost:

Those innocent souls, we never forgot
United us all in a single breath.

We shed not tears, only our doubts,
Vowed to destroy all vicious clouts.

Stronger we rose, with a will so bold,
As hard as diamonds and as pure as gold.

Victorious we emerged, its plain to see,
So come join this anthem and sing with me.

Giggle...I thot the nick would throw you off, but I thot you might remember that that is how strm talks about me here - as wifey2b

I bet the video is awesome too...I was always afraid of heights but now since I have flown a few times and love photography, methinks I could handle the height now.
I actually drove past NYC and got to see the Empire State Building on June 30th...I am presently in Delaware for the month of August. I dropped hints to the people I am staying with that I wanted to go to Long Island but as of right now - no bites - lol...
I will going back home probably by air on Sept 2nd....but wished I were flying back to be with strm...he''s so much cuter than my folks giggle.
So Rhino - hope to post back and forth from now on...oh, btw, you will only get to hear good from me too on Strm - afterall - my honey does NO wrong...but wait until we are married a few years

Funny how I feel like I know nearly all of you already...but since I have been lurking for over 2 years then that should make for it. lol
You know..I appreciate all your seeking Strm''s approval...cuz I seem to benefit from his knowledge...I have told him that I will soon have to be wearing rings on my toes and start thinkin of body piercings - lol - I think NOT!...but that is just a personal thing...seeing as I am a person who gets nauseated just seeing someone put a pair of pierced earrings in their ears...I might be cute, but I can be wimpy - lol...well, ok worked for me - and I have strm fooled ;} he thinks I am cute - so we will leave it there - giggle

Here''s the 2nd. I wish I had the gear I had now and had made it up to the World Trade Center. I''ve been to the top of that before and the view was absolutely incredible as well. I love the contrast of the sky against the skyline in this shot.

I love this one! There are so many landmarks in the city & it''s amazing to see them all from this angle. I can see my company''s NY office building in this shot also

I have a picture I took with a disposable camera from the top of the World Trade Center. It''s blurry & has a weird brownish orangy tint to it, but now I truly treasure it.

Have you been to the "Top of the Rock" yet (at Rockafeller Center). I''m thinking of going up there soon as I''m sure you get a beautiful view of Central Park.

LOL... us guys are full of little problems. It''s ok though ... for the most part we''re pretty tolerable.

I sincerely wish you and strm only the best dear. Strm knows the ultimate secrets for a happy successful marriage and as long as you guys stay the course I am confident it will endure as awesome (and even moreso) as it began. This coming November my lovely wife and I will be celebrating 22 years and I am more in love with her today than I ever have been.
