My personal choice is to have the diamond in a plain, beautiful solitaire and then get a diamond wedding band.

Yes, I was just about to say that this can be a personal decision! I prefer a diamond shank on the ering, but others clearly don''t. What matters most is what SHE prefers.Date: 6/6/2007 5:51:42 PM

Both can be beautiful... but here''s my opinion. When you get a ring with pave, people will see a beautiful ring. When you get a plain, simple solitaire, people will see *the diamond*. So do you want to emphasize a piece of jewelry, or simply highlight a beautiful stone?
My set is pave, and it definitely makes a ''jewelry statement''. In my next lifeI think I would like a plain solitaire... to just showcase the diamond.![]()
JMHO, of course!
That would be my vote too.Date: 6/6/2007 5:30:04 PM
