Please could you recommend a reputable IA and a top-notch jeweller in Chicago?

DH and I are going to be in Chicago in a few weeks' time and I'd like to use an IA then (stay tuned!

).

I also need to have my Leon Mege halo-ed ring sized down by about 1 size. It's supposed to be size 5 but it's more like a 5.25 and I wear it now on my LH which is 4.25-4.50. Does anyone know of a jeweller in Chicago who can work on platinum and to whom I could entrust my beloved LM ring (the part that needs to be fixed is just platinum - only 3/4 of the band is covered in melee diamonds)? I know the best thing to do is to send it to Leon but I can't secure jewellery insurance at the moment and can't risk sending the ring back and forth.

Glad to help my dear, I am sure Jonathan will take good care of you as he is a fully trained metal smith and jeweller, he has two platinum rings on his homepage, one with a halo so I am sure he can work with this metal.
