PLEASE HELP! Anyone in NYC going near IDJ soon?

I am desperate for a bit of help and I am hoping that a PSer would be kind enough to assist me.

Yekutiel has swapped out the diamonds in my DBTY and he called to say that he would feel better if another PSer could look over it with their own eyes before he ships it to me.

I am happy to hold of shipping the necklace until next week if there is someone out there who may be going to or near IDJ in the next few days who would be willing to take a look at the diamonds in the necklace (particularly clarity)?

I am looking for a second opinion that the stones are eyeclean.

Is anyone able to help me out? I would be eternally grateful if you could!

HOT, I'm not sure I'd want to rely on another PSer's eyes, simply because being a PSer doesn't guarantee a stronger sensitivity to inclusions.

I'm a PSer, but I'm blissfully blind when it comes to inclusions, for example. Two of my friends are less so - they see a lot more than I see clarity-wise.

The only way I'd think it helpful to have someone else eyeball it would be to have someone whose vision tends to run more toward the acute side in seeing inclusions. If that person found it eyeclean, then it would raise my hopes you would too.

I just had a thought. Is there any way Yekutiel can call or text Bliss and ask her to come and take a look? I know she is there alot,and I believe she works close to the area. Plus, she is super sweet, so I believe she would be willing to help. Just thinking out loud here.

Thanks for your input Ladies. aljdewey you make a very good point about the eyesight factor. I don't think it is going to matter though as there doesn't seem to be anybody going.

Dani it is a good idea but I don't want to bother her. I only asked on the off chance someone might be already going. I don't want to put anybody out.

Jane, yes I have some photos, I will post them now. It is a bit hard to tell anything from them though, although one of the pavillion shots looks like there is something there, but that could just be girdle reflection.

I only see one with an issue that I would be concerned about, but I think like you, it could just be a girdle reflection....

Hi, HOT - I just spotted this, I had no idea! I've just had my own QC issue with a piece, and I'll be, like, two doors down from them either this week or next to pick it up. I'd be happy to do it , though with the caveat that I think Alj is right - I'd feel awful if I okayed something and it arrived not up to snuff! But as I'm guessing that is, a) how Yekutiel is feeling, and, b) two perspectives are better than one ... If this will make you more comfortable, you can count on me.

Yes, but I don't think its an inclusion... I think it is more likely a reflection.

Oh thank you thank you thank you Circ! If it isn't too much trouble for you, I would really appreciate it if you had the time to take a look.
I completely understand Alj's POV so no problems there. I'm thinking that your eyes are probably more discerning than mine anyway..
It would be great just to get a second opinion before Yekutiel ships it, for my benefit and his.
I'll let him know to hold off on shipping the DBTY until you have been in, either this week or next.

I hope that you have been able to come up with a resolution for your beautiful ring too.
