Hello all,

Currently looking at two lab-grown diamonds in the 2-carat range with as close to ideal cut as possible. Have narrowed it down to the following two D color VVS1 diamonds, one with a gcal 8x report, and the other listed on the Whiteflash Precision lab grown line.

1)

Gem Certification & Assurance Lab

Pros: gcal 8x
Cons: questionable central symmetry and light leakage on the optical brilliance and symmetry pictures?

Diamond | 2.07 ct D VVS1 Round Cut Precision Lab Grown Diamond IGI Certified | 291219

This fabulous 2.07 carat Round Ideal cut diamond has a clarity grade of VVS1 and color grade of D.It is an excellent choice for engagement rings. | 291219

Pros: ASET looks clean/great (?)
Cons: VVS1 but has inclusions on the table

One has ASET and the other has gcal images, so it's difficult to compare. Appreciate any words of wisdom to help me discern as I am a novice. Thanks!

The WF Precision diamond is the clear winner cut-wise. I would not worry at all about inclusions in a VVS1.

The WF stone will be eye clean for sure. No way you will see those with the naked eye. And yes - the WF one is lovely!!
