My husband and I are deciding between two IGI lab diamonds.
While I’m happy with either, my husband is concerned about the cut quality since the videos we received weren’t recorded very well. (I couldn’t upload the videos here, so I took some screenshots.)
I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance on choosing the better stone
Both diamonds are E VVS2 Ideal/Ex/Ex.
1. 3.16 carat
9.42-9.44x5.82mm
• Table: 56%
• Depth: 61.60%
• Pavilion depth: 43%
• Pavilion angle: 40.7°
• Crown height: 15.50%
• Crown angle: 34.7°
No "Hearts & Arrows" in the comments though I can see arrows in the video.
HCA 1.0 Stonealgo 9.7
This was the initial stone I picked, but my husband is concerned it may not be as well-executed since it lacks a Hearts & Arrows comment.
2. 3.55 carat
9.76-9.78x6.03mm
• Table: 57%
• Depth: 61.70%
• Pavilion depth: 43%
• Pavilion angle: 40.8°
• Crown height: 15%
• Crown angle: 34.8°
