Hello everyone,

I have been lurking around the forums for a couple of months now. I have learned alot from the great deal of information on here. I am getting serious about buying a diamond and have listed 3 below that represent what I am looking for in a diamond.
What are the pros and cons of each? which one would you guys choose?
My budget for a diamond is 4500-5500. Looking for a 1ctish, eyeclean diamond.

I want to thank you guys for helping me learn about diamonds and make me a better shopper. If there are other diamonds that you beleive fall into this category, please post.

Thanks again everyone!

To me, all of the Diamonds look good. It''s personal choice as to which one you would like the best. All 3 of these Diamonds are stated to have Excellent Symmetry. The first one scored 1.2 on the HCA. The second one scored 1.3 on the HCA. The third one scored 1.1 on the HCA. The first Diamond has an Excellent Spread. The second Diamond and the third have Very Good spreads. You can check the proportions yourself with the cut advisor. I would double check just to make sure your gonna get the most sparkle for your money!

Personally, I would choose the 1st Diamond, because of the Excellent Spread, and the SI-1 Clarity.

You can find the cut advisor here: http://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp

If you need anymore help, just post - and im sure someone here will be happy to help.

Thanks Amanda,

IIused the HCA to choose the three. I was jsut wondering what others would think. I also llike the first one as well because of the clarity and the larger spread.

Anyboby else want to comment? Thanks again-

Hi,
Could someone please comment on the inclusion map on the top one? I will refrain so as not to expose my ignorance.

Sincerely,
David

Hi David,

If you click on the link, then go to the top right, you''ll see a box that says "view GIA report" if you click on that link it will show you the report and the inclusions are shown on a map of the diamond on the bottom of that page.

Hi,
Thanks mrssalvo. I am able to view the cert and the plot of the top stone just fine, that is where my "ignorance" starts, in the interpretation. I do not want to make a comment that is inacurate or regretful, so I want others to comment on that inclusion map.

. Well, if it were me and I was interested in the stone, I''d call WF and have them pull it and look at it for you. They will be able to look at the stone and the plot at the same time and tell you what is visible to the eye and what''s not. Many times things that show up on the maps are not visible to the naked eye. Also, some specs can be black while others are white and not noticable.

About the incusion on number one? Those seem like really thin lines.. would they be visable under normal wearing conditions? What causes these lines?

I love diamond number 1. What a great combo. I like it better than number 2. Number 3 would be my second choice.
