please help me to choose an e-ring diamond

I'm looking for an e-ring with a 4k budget, and finally focus on the "a cut above" series of whiteflash and find these two diamonds.

Please kindly recommend which one the the best choice. Thanks a lot!

Both look beautiful! And honestly they are both so similar in specs I am not sure there would be a visible difference between them - for only $200 more I might be inclined to go with the VS1 - but you could also as easily save that $200 and go with the VS2!

Not sure if $4k is just the diamond budget or for the whole ER - but as another option - would you consider a G-SI1 ACA? This is a 0.793ct G-SI1 A Cut Above coming at $3891 - I think the mm size difference would be noticeable at this carat weight, plus the higher color, and WF says it is eyeclean (though I would doublecheck with them that it is eyeclean to your preference). http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2794555.htm

Hi Ting,

I'd also be interested to know which is the best since their cut specs and HCA scores are quite similar to a smaller pair of diamonds that I'm considering for a stud upgrade with Blue Nile.

I don't know anything about the technical aspects of light return so I'm afraid I can't help you interpret the images, but hopefully one of the experts here will chime in soon!

The 0.793 ct diamonds also seems great. i have never thought about that i may can increase the size and color with a eye clean si1 diamond. That sounds attractive to me. I'll contact with whiteflash to check whether the one is totally eye clean and then to make a final decision. Thank you very much for your suggestion!
