Please help with the setting for an 8 mm stone on a budget

I am currently looking for a setting to set a 8 mm round stone. Ideally I would have loved a halo, however with the tight budget it might be a bit unrealistic. Speaking of budget, I would love to stay around 200 usd but may be could increase it a bit if I could find a nice halo.

I am open to any pre-loved options and it does not have to be an eqxcuisit craftsmanshit, I would be happy with the LOGR quality as well. I am looking for WG or RG, platinum would be dreamy, but probably way unrealistic.

Is this a right hand ring? If so you could use lots of different types of stones and stay under $200 for the stone. You could get a very nice amethyst, garnet, aquamarine, tourmaline. Or use a cabochon. Maybe a moonstone, jade or turquoise. If your trying to go with a budget setting maybe use a stock setting.

Oh I get it. You already HAVE an 8mm stone. Maybe someone else has some ideas.
