This is the sapphire from M. Khordipour that will replace that which is lost...the basket is more ornate than my original, but I totally LOVE it.

OH my gosh! I am sooooo incredibly jealous! You need to show that off ASAP! I have been obsessing about it for a couple of weeks now but as a poor graduate student, maybe someday. Oh well, one can dream

This ring is truly stunning! I tried it on, and drooled over it for weeks, but ultimately went with the other Tacori setting I posted previously. You will be THRILLED with this ring fabcrab. I still have dreams about it! Maybe I can convince FH that I should have 2 engagement rings. Haha~

FabCrab, the ring was a long time coming... try 16 years! I keep saying I''m gonna post my ring story and I never seem to be in the same place as the hard drive with my photos.

What I love about the design is that it looks fairly contemporary from the straight-on top view with the square lines of the princess, then morphs into something more dreamy and vintage-y when viewed from the side. It''s like having two rings in one!

I never dreamed I would wear a work of art like this. It''s ridiculous how much I catch myself gazing at it!

I just bought this setting, though this is just the stock pic of it, rather than one I took. I haven''t yet set it with anything, but my, I do love the gallery... I actually saved a pic of this setting for years in my eyecandy ring folder, and when I ran across it I couldn''t resist! In person it is way, way more delicate than the image makes it look and the engraving is really great, surprisingly... perfect millgrain. The band is about 2mm wide. It has .35 carats of diamond melee I think? (I just got it for a play ring, it won''t have a diamond in it.)

It is a Simon G ring and it is AMAZING in person.
I was hesitating to share since I don''t think that the pics do the setting justice. as it looks kind of clunky, especially the prongs but it absolutely does not look like that in real life.
