My favourite flower has always been pansies, I love how bright and cheery they are and also how resilient they are. Yesterday I was looking at my last little pansy still standing when I noticed in the centre of my AVC what looks to me like a little pansy staring back at me, now I believe it's the 'maltese cross' but my eyes just see a little pansy. Can you see it, or is it wishful thinking? Love my AVC even more now!

I reckon if you & I lived on the same side of the world we'd be walking mates, I'm exactly the same, casual and comfortable all day every day with my sparklies firmly on at all times! And your hands and gorg! These days I'm slathering my hands (and face ) with everything I can find - I fear it's too little too late hence why I think as we get older we probably need bigger diamonds to detract from the hands...

Absolutely! I'm always out walking somewhere or other, mostly alone. Thank you for being kind about my hands, but after seeing thise pics I ordered hand cream with SPF. I use hand cream many times a day, but it never occurred to me to use SPF unless it's actually sun lotion weather & I'm doing full coverage. Surprising how few are actually available here in the UK, but I shall make more effort going forward. My face & body i have always taken care of, so not sure why my hands got left behind. In my 20's people used to say I should have been a hand model, as I had lovely skin & long nails. Ha! That's motherhood & endless gardening for ya!

But bigger diamonds would work..........

This is a 1.75CT Zambian emerald NO oil or treatment that I finally found to go into a wax that I want to have made up of a ring that my late husband made for my years ago that I lost in a house fire. It is as close to the one I lost that I could find. I salvaged some of the gold from the fire, ow to find someone to cast it for me. Please, excuse the condition of my hands. I’ve been digging in my flower beds when it’s not raining and when it has been I’ve been busy cutting opals for a new client.

I'm happy you could find a replacement stone. David Klass can maybe use your salvaged gold, I know they've done similar for other people. So sentimental and touching- I hope you can have this done
