Hi! Does anyone have pictures of their IDJ shared prong bangles he/she can share? My FI and I are looking to purchase a bangle like Whiteflash's for each of our moms. This is the Whiteflash bangle we're interested in: http://www.whiteflash.com/diamond-bracelets/shared-prong-diamond-bangle-755.htm

Unfortunately, we want it done in platinum, and WF won't be able to complete the work for 6 weeks and we need them a month from today.

IDJ has promised a 2 week delivery time frame, but I'd like to see examples of their bangle work and diamond quality. Any help would be appreciated! We're looking at bangles with 3.0 ctw or above.

Thanks again!

have you tried BGD as well? That's where I got mine and they turned it around pretty quickly.

Yes, I also contacted BGD for a quote and I *think* they order the metal bangle from the same supplier because they quoted me a 6 week turnaround time for the platinum as well. If I wanted 14K, they'll be able to get it to me in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

aahhhh too bad! If you decide to go the 14K route, I will tell you that I have not yet needed to dip mine and it is still very white and shiny. Very happy with it! The stones in the BGD and the WF are top of the line, so it may be worth considering going with the nicer cut stones with 14K gold if timing ends up being a huge factor for you. Good Luck!! What a great gift!

If it were me, I'd spring for the BGD/WF bracelet too. However, our parents are Asian and they don't think very highly of 14K gold. I wish that I'd known about the timing thing - would have gotten on this sooner! Oh well.

IDJ has been very responsive to my emails though, and they are willing to guarantee a 2 week turnaround time.

Lizzyann, I sifted through your threads and found the SMTB thread you started on your BGD bangle. It is friggin' gorgeous.

Ok, yes I understand the importance of platinum now. Hopefully, you'll get some more IDJ customers here. If you don't get many responses here, maybe consider another thread asking more generally about IDJ diamond quality. To be honest, I don't remember seeing any IDJ bangles posted on here but I could be wrong. I have yet to do business with them but I always found them to be very responsive and quick to give quotes, options etc. Most PSers generally advise them to use "PS quality" stones to ensure top notch cut. Please also look up some threads from "Bliss". She frequents IDJ and has some awesome pieces! Definitely check her posts out! Please also consider getting your bangles engraved in the inside if time permits. I received mine as a push present and we put my sons name and birthday in there. Maybe you could think of something to put in there that would be memorable as well. Thanks for the comments on my bangle! It is really beautiful even at the 1.5ctw. Sparkles like mad!!!

Thanks for the advice! I'll check out Bliss' threads. I figured it was a long shot to find some IDJ bangles but wanted to ask anyway.

Luann did specify that she would provide "PS quality F/G SI stones" in my order. I'm excited to see what they can do.
