Thank you! I'm right pleased with it. And Judah at Excel Diamonds was a pleasure to work with. :)

Now I just have to figure out how I want it set. I WANTED James or Caleb Meyer to do it, but they no longer set customers' stones, so I'm going to have to back up and punt. ;(

So now I'm on the hunt for THE setting....

Ksinger,

Thank you ,,,and thank you for your kind words as well.
Pictures are great!

Best,

Congratulations!
I love the color of your new diamond!
Judah is always very helpful and always takes a lot of time to answer questions, I would buy at Exceldiamonds anytime!
Ksinger, if you do a search on their website, they have a 2.5 M-VVS1 diamond VERY similar to yours.
I'm sure your diamond is a fire spitter!

That stone is beautiful. So interesting and full of suprises.

If you ever get bored of it I will be waiting with open arms! :D

Hi,

Beautiful stone! Wear it in good health.

Yeah, while I require eye-clean, I kinda like being able to loupe a stone and see its "fingerprint" so to speak. It makes it an individual, you know?

I saw that M you mentioned. Looks lovely. (wow, here I am looking at something like that, and my diamond package isn't even dry yet! ;)) Of course mine didn't cost anywhere NEAR that much, and yes, cost was a consideration. I'm just lucky that I can dispense with the color issue. It enables me to get larger stones for much less money. And I'm glad there are vendors who offer stones of "lower" color, but excellent cut, for those of us who like that. More kudos to Judah & Co, for doing that.

I'm one of those big-dream-small-pocketbook girls (and it seemed we were legion) who lusted long for that IF 1.74 carat O at GOG. It was just more than I could reasonably spend on a diamond. I'm glad I finally found mine. :) Hmm...I wonder what happened to that stone....
