pkinnew and YC -- good question regarding the body color. Sometimes they are silver with pink overtones, sometimes they are golden, depending on the light. This is what the pendant looks like right at this moment in dim natural lighting (what a cute pink belly):

Bsomlo, I love your blue akoyas and fireballs. How long is the strand of akoyas? Have you ever tried wearing them twisted or layered with a strand of white akoyas?
