Hi all,
I saw a recent post about this subject, but all my search queries are coming up with topics on diamond polish grade.
How important, or what are the effects of polishing, the inside of the prongs (facing towards the diamond/center stone)?
After proposing, I plan on visiting the jeweler who created the setting to resize (it''s a surprise). If a resize is needed, wouldn''t they take the center stone out? If so, then I might have an opportunity to ask them to do some extra polishing of the platinum prongs.
