I really really dont like whitE gold rings ( i found out too late) so i was kind of hoping people might say a nice coppery rg might work. Because its default now is yg but i was secretly hoping for rg
how can there be no such thing as pure red though. Sure mine probably isnt i know, but it has to exist in theory i figured![]()

Sounds like no. Rats. is my favorite color. Yellow gold looks better on me than white. My mom only wears yellow and we have the same skin tone.
In a previous post i said i will probably go yellow gold. I was just hoping to hear rose gold would look good. I only threw wg in because I knew someone would vote that, and i wanted to see how many.LD|1360014574|3372213 said:nielseel|1360014422|3372211 said:i know the question is vague but i was just hoping there was some red thay would go with rg.

I don't understand? So why not go for yellow gold? It's a traditional look for a ruby.

Well wouldnt that apricot one look good though? Or no? I think it doesnt look like rose gold, but my eyes could be tricking meChrono|1360029878|3372391 said:The peach and apricot gold have proprietary formulation so these have to be specially ordered and custom made by a select few vendors, possibly only one or two vendors only.
Im sure your right. And i am comfortable with yellow gold and im sure i would see what you guys see about it clashing. I just seriously have no place around me that sells 18k rose gold to see first hand that it doesnt match, so i cant conpare it myselfLD|1360060167|3372616 said:I seriously doubt that you'll see much difference between a high karat yellow gold and this apricot one. The difference will be so subtle but you'll be paying a very high premium for apricot gold. If you love rose gold then just get it. It doesn't matter whether we like it or love it - you have to wear it!
Just bear in mind that the two red stones linked to had very high proportions of brown and so will look very different from a ruby red.
