Oh, good!!! I'm waiting for your photos, too! I also ended up purchasing some, but chose the smaller size in the champagne color. I won't have mine for a week or so yet, either.

OK, I've finally got them!

Once I got over the large size, incredible lustre and sheer chunkiness (in a good way! These are not at all like my flat multicolour rope was.), enough to put these on, can you guess what my first thought was?




Darn, I should have gone for the ivory strand!

These are stunning, but don't look so good on my skin tone in person.

The neckshot is rather stubbornly staying upside down. Oh well, you can still see the pearls!

I think the color is beautiful and I think it looks beautiful on you. I like the "chunkiness", too!

What are you going to do? Ask for the ivory and send one or the other back?

The ARE stunning. Are You sure they won't work when You get a little tan? I understand what You meaned skin tone; my golden purple smaller ripples made me feel same way...

Oddly enough the blue overtones looks more greyish when I'm wearing them. Not at all like my grey or blue pearls.

I've emailed Hisano to see if the ivory one is still available, if it is I will exchange this one. If it's not then I'll have to think again.

I wish I had listened to you all the first time!

But I stubbornly thought I wanted white!

YAY for Hisano!!! She still had the ivory one!

Her description:

"This is the A strand. This one has a creamy ivory body color with strong silver (some metallic) overtone. It has very smooth surfaces, not many wrinkles."

I'm so lucky!

Not that the one I initially chose wasn't stunning - the quality on these is incredible. Heavy body, great dimensionality, incredible lustre!

It's just that this particular blue overtone didn't work on my skin colour.

This is the first time I've had that problem! (such a first world problem).

Now the ivories I can picture wearing with my favorite Wedgewood blue tops!

These were Hisano's first pick too. She said they were an exceptional strand. I must admit they do look incredibly smooth in the pic!
