Re: Presenting my 1930's 2.16 E SI1 OEC

Thanks, I just did that. I have no idea what the heck I was writing that might have started with an E! European, maybe? I'm so sorry for te confusion, ya'll! It is surely an H!

Yes, I've been wearing it out every day (even though I'm still waiting on the appraisal papers to start the insurance process! Naughty me!)

I've gotten a few compliments from people, but they probably just figure it's a $5 ring from a small mall accessory store or the like! My coworker thought my haloed 0.7 was fake for the longest time! She only recently asked me if it's real, haha.

Ohhhhhhh, pretty! Lucky, lucky!! May I ask, was the seller in Canton, CT? I noticed that on the in the interior of the box. I know there are a bunch of antique shops up in that area. It might be worth a trip for me. :naughty: I never find anything good when I go to antique shops!!!

Actually, the shop is in NY. The lady that brought the item in had purchased it in CT from a family that had it for a few generations.. Good eye! I didn't even pay attention to the box! :lickout: I was just "gimme gimme" when I got it!!

Just came back to drool again ;)
