---UPDATE---

Cliffs - She said yes and we''re thrilled!


Dinner went great, low light, great food, great wine and a three day weekend ahead. And little did my GF know, the surprise of her life!

Near the end of dinner I began to tell her how much she meant to me. I looked down and told her I apologize for leaving out the most important part of our great evening, the candles. I then proceeded to the kitchen ro retreive the candles, one of which had the ring around it laying at the base on the holder, toward me. They were lit as I came back in and she did not notice the ring at the base as it was facing my direction. Another twenty minutes or so went by and I told her memorable things yet again. At this point all was perfect. I smiled while looking at her and slowly turned the candle base toward her, she noticed the ring at this point and began the, oh my...oh MY.....are you serious....

So in the end, we had a wonderful night and spent yesterday planning a vacation to St. Lucia.....the future looks promising
