Price negociation with polished diamond factories.

Hi all,
The question I am about to ask is for traders and brokers who are familiar with negotiations with polished diamond wholesalers and cutting factories, either offline or through online trading platforms like rapnet.com or idexonline.com as a example.Although each particular transaction is a very special case,what is the trading range accepted in this environment compared to the asking price per carat displayed by the vendor, and how high can we bring down the price , without offending the seller or seem unprofessional?

Depends on how much your buying and if your paying cash.
Buying one a month don't expect much, buying 1000+ stones a year you can get a much bigger discount.
