I still remember watching Charles and Diana's wedding. I think I must have been 7.

William is looking more and more like his dad as he gets older. Or one of his dad's brothers...can't remember which one.

William is a true romantic.. they had a holiday in Africa. No revelations about the actual proposal.

She is daunted about the prospect of being in the royal family, she says she will try and take it in her stride. She says William will help her.

The ring is really sparkly!

William says if he realised that proposing was a race he would have done it long before now lol..

Kate didn't know he was definitely going to propose. She says that the proposal timing was good timing for their relationship.

William says his mothers ring is very special to him. He said Kate is very special to him too and it was his way of including his mother in the engagement.

They were asked what they love about eachother. He says there are so many reasons. Great fun, she has habits that he loves. She says he is very supportive of her.

I believe William's title at the moment is Prince William of Wales. Most direct royal children are conferred with a new title upon their marriage. Prince Andrew became the Duke of York, Prince Edward became Count of Wessex.

Princess Anne became the Princess Royal, but I'm not sure she was conferred that title upon her wedding, I think it came at a different time.

I wonder if there has ever been precedent for this particular circumstance. William is the son of the existing Prince of Wales. Has there ever been another.

I agree! Maybe I'm just cold and dead inside, but Di's ring as her ER just doesn't do it for me Maybe it is the whole divorce and related events that somehow "taint" in my mind? I don't know.... I do think she is a beautiful, intelligent, and classy gal and hope that the ring is what SHE wanted. That's all that matters in the end!

Agree. I thought William was going to really be gorgeous, but he's not. He's still cute, but just not what I thought he'd be when I saw him as a boy. Harry looks to improve with age, however.
