Wow, I can''t believe I missed these. You looked so beautiful Basil, and you and your new husband look so very happy! You did such an amazing job of transforming that venue too. While it is gorgeous to begin with, your colors and decor really make it look so warm and inviting. I''m sorry it took so long to get your pictures. It took twice as long to get our pictures than what she told us too. I forgot all about it when I got them though!

I will be having a RI wedding as well and I am trying to compile a list now of awesome RI area photogs. To me, its one of the most important parts of the wedding and I just love what I''ve seen of your photos!



I''m 99% sure I know where your venue was... I figure you probably don''t want to share the name on PS for privacy reasons but I was just curious how everything went there. I''ve never been to a wedding there but I love the look of things from the website and it fits the bill for what I would be looking for if I were to have a more formal wedding. Forgive me if you''ve already shared these details elsewhere. I browsed through your threads quickly and didn''t see the name of it anywhere.

I don''t mind saying that my venue was Linden Place, cause I guess no one can stalk my wedding now that it''s happened. My photographer was Kristin Spencer (she also did sap483''s wedding if you search for her).


I would definitely recommend both of them! Linden Place was pretty much perfect for what we were looking for...the coordinator there is super helpful and organized. Everything ran very smoothly. And obviously it''s a beautiful location. We hired Russell Morin''s catering which was great, as well, if you are looking in that direction. Kristin was a little slow in getting us back our pictures, but that''s cause she''s got some personal stuff going on...I don''t know if it''s public knowledge yet, but it''s a good enough excuse that I''m not bothered by it!


If you have any more specific questions about RI weddings, we looked at a lot of vendors so I can give you my recommendations. I still love talking about this stuff!

I figured it was Linden Place but I didn''t want to post that until you said it yourself.

I think its a beautiful place (from the pics I''ve seen, never been there in person) and I want to consider it down the road on the long list of options (Glen Manor House is another one of my top choices).

I love Kristin''s work. She did a dear friend''s wedding back in 2005 and the photos are stunning. I''m just hoping we can afford her.

I won''t thread-jack any longer! I''ll be sure to page you and the other RI brides when I finally am able to make some choices.
