Progress for Diamondseeker''s daughter!

Things have been going well. My daughter''s bf talks about the future fairly often and a wedding in 2010 has been discussed. She is really not expecting anything before the end of the year because he had sort of given her indications that he wanted to date for a year before getting officially engaged. She hasn''t really been anxious because he has made his intentions so clear. Last week she was trying to think of something to cook for him (and he REALLY likes it when she cooks for him!) and she remembered that I had sent her the recipe awhile back for engagement chicken! So she made it. Yesterday he asked her when she''d like to go ring shopping! Naturally, she was happy to get a chance to show him what she likes, even though it still may be a few weeks/months before getting the ring. They went today and she loved the Vatche Caroline setting (which happens to be her name!) which I had showed her online previously. She''d like to get a diamond wedding band. They were in and out pretty fast and he was amazed, I think! (She is the opposite of me...I would have made 10 trips and spent 30 hours.

)

So there really may be something to that chicken...I didn''t think about it, but she realized it!

Actually, back when Mrs DJ bought that setting, it wasn''t the Caroline. Later when they introduced a similar setting, they added little diamonds on the basket and named it Caroline. I actually like the newer one better. I''ll attempt to link a picture from the WF site:
