Hi ,
I have my diamond (.42 carat, H, SI1, WF ACA) but I''m having trouble deciding on the best setting to show the stone...and would appreciate some guidance....here goes:
1) I''ve read that diamonds show more sparkle in a prong setting which allows more light to reach the pavillion as this light will be reflected back to the table. Is this true?
2) I quite like the thin bezel setting which can help a smallish stone look a tad bigger. If the stone is set high enough in the bezel, will the ''light-factor'' be the same as in a prong setting?
3) I''m also open to a slide pendant vs one with the attached chain like the WF Martini style pendant. From reading other posts, it sounds like although the attached pendants can be more prone to flipping or riding up the side of the neck, I read that this can be minimized by using a flexible chain with ''roundish'' links and by using the ''right'' shape and placement of the ''ears''

4) Here are some pendant styles I''m considering...I know it''s really down to personal preference, but...whatdayathink?

Thanks in advance!
