Okay guys, after a HUGE problem with my computer and name (it happened on 3 computers!!) I am back with the proposal and pictures!!
Well, as you all know, I went to Disneyland on Friday with my boyfriend. We''ve had the ring over a week, and I was dying to get it. We arrived at Disneyland at about 10 (we ran WAY late and had a little tiff
), and it had just rained. The sky was cloudy, but not freezing. We went on many rides, and had a great time.
We were walking around, at about 8:30pm (yes, 10 HOURS after we got there), and I had seen him unzip his pocket right about in front of the Magic Kingdom (the big castle), and the lights were on and it was beautiful. They had just roped it off for a fireworks show, and I could tell Paul was a little mad about that. People we on blanket waiting for the fireworks..It started sprinkling rain, and he got down on one knee, and said, "Amber, will you be my wife? Will you marry me?" And I said, "Yes, of course!!" and then he said, "Well, give me your finger!" Duh.
And we hugged, and I kissed him.. And this guy sitting on a blanket next to me said, "Well, give me your camera! Let me take a picture!" So he did, and yay! I''m engaged!! It''s funny, because the night before he had gone to my Dad''s house to ask for my hand, and my Dad was gone, so Paul had to call me to call him to wrangle him home.
My Dad was asking Paul to help him find out where these holes were in the roof, so my Dad got up in the attic and was handing Paul some of our old bayonettes and things from WW1 & 2, and Paul was like, since you''re preparing yourself, is this a good time to ask for your daughter''s hand in marriage? Funny. Anyway, hand shots!
