Pulled an Andelain at BGD!

Well, as I mentioned in another post, I went with DD to BGD and got to play in his jewelry box. I had no intentions of getting anything for myself, but, I pulled an Andelain. As soon as Brian took out these earrings, my heart jumped and I had to have them! They are the perfect size and I love the way they dangle on my ear.

My big problem was choosing between the ruby or sapphire. I know, first world problems. I have a sapphire and diamond ring and a sapphire and diamond pendent so I went with the sapphire earrings. The rubies were sooooo beautiful too.

Alpha, they are absolutely stunning! I just LOVE them! I prefer the sapphire to the rubies - the rubies look a bit pink so they could easily be a different stone.

They are just amazing. Where will you wear them? Dressy or everyday casual? I would definitely wear them everywhere!

Thanks Smith, I knew you'd love them. I haven't taken them off. I plan to wear them daily to the grocery store, etc.

Oh Andelain, I had no intentions of getting anything for me. I went to BGD to get a diamond and pink sapphire ring for DD. Brian took out trays of jewelry for me to look at and when I saw the earrings I just knew I had to have them! Buying anything for myself was very, very unexpected!

The funny part is, that my husband called me right in the middle of my visit with Brian before I saw the earrings. I teased him telling him that he was checking up on me to make sure I wasn't spending any money. I guess after 31 years, he knows me all too well.

msop04- Sapphires are one of my favorites too. They're also my birthstone. Win, win!

Pregcurious - I agree, sapphires are so versatile. That's what DD, Brian and Leslie said, so that pushed me to the blue side.

Woofmama - I'm very fortunate I can visit with Brian in person. DD had a great time too. She's has also gotten the jewelry bug.

natyLad - I'm sure these earrings would look absolutely fantastic on you too. I'm sure Santa would think so too.
