What a cutie. I just want to gobble her up. I like Daisy Mae. If we got a girl dog, I wanted to name her Clementine and call her Clemmie for short. My husband used his veto power saying that we weren''t going to name our dog after a cow. When do you finally get to bring her home??
I''m picking her up this Saturday! I will post pics of her this weekend, hopefully (if I get 5 minutes to myself, of course!)

Ya ha ha, new Daisy pics--here she is, 8 weeks old....I am driving a total of 12 hours this weekend to pick her up and bring her home--can''t wait!!!

Here''s another pic...

Ooops...that previous pic was her at 5 weeks--this is another of her at 8 weeks (hopefully)

Those are the ones! I got them for Maya cause I like the colors on her brown fur (she is in my mother in law thread if you have not seen her yet). I am so glad you found them, you are a genius!

I am really pulling for Daisy, and how cute would those collars and leads be? Adjustable, so maybe one would grow with her...

Diamond, I TOTALLY saw Miss Maya in your MIL thread today--didn''t get a chance to respond, sorry! But she is absolutely gorgeous, especially with those green eyes and beautiful coat...just a beautiful dog! If your MIL doesn''t love her, well then, she stinks. (MIL, not the dog, of course.)

OK, so I found that collar/lead on a site called tripswithpets.com! They have a little side website called bonzobeans or something... but anyway, they are not the same as the Bella Bean ones but are similar, in design and price. DH is going to have a total fit, but whatever...we''ll talk about it when the c.c. bill comes, LOL! I was telling my MIL about the collar/lead tonight and she was cracking up, especially because I told her I wasn''t telling him I spent more than ten bucks on a dog collar, hee hee.

Awww! She''s adorable

My Pepper was 8 weeks when I brought him home and the drive was 16 hours home! We had gotten him while we were on vacation. He was such a good puppy the entire ride. I hope your baby is as good. I think that long car trip made him an excellent car dog today. He''s so good in the car. Bring those little puppy pee pads, those were a life saver for me! I can''t wait for pictures

A dog trainer told me once that names ending in ee sounds are the best, but I can't remember why. Maybe it's a happier sound?

I think your puppy's name will be whatever your puppy's name is. If that makes any sense. And it sounds like her name is Daisy! She's the perfect color for the name too!

ETA: I don't think the fact that Jessica Simpson's fluffly little mop of a designer dog is also named daisy should be any reason not to give a lovely yellow and white beagle her perfect name.

How did I miss this???Monnie you must be so excited, she is a little angel!!!
12.gif
You absolutely HAVE to order the complete daisy ensemble for her, YOU MUST!!!! Hehehe...Safe journey and look forward to the new pics!

YAY! Your puppy and my parents'' new kitty are both Daisies!!!

She''s absolutely precious!!!

Monarch, I spoil my girl (today was her first birthday!!) She has, seriously 15 collars and leads, all from Bella Bean and the ones you saw with the daisies. Plus, I had nice tags made and put one on each collar because if I want to switch her collar and leash for fun (a girl has to have variety!) I need to have a tag on it just in case, and they cannot be switched from collar to collar. My husband is loving having a wife who loves to shop for herself, three kids, a home and now a dog too!

Thank you, I think she is a beauty and your new girl will be a wonderful addition to your home. I think she is too cute and cannot wait to hear how it goes when you finally get to cuddle and smooch her!

Brought home the baby last night...

ETA: I'm working on resizing all the cute pics I took last night and today, in between feedings and potties and naps, lol! Final verdict on the name is Daisy Mae...I got her first tag engraved Friday after work!

Ok, please have patience, I''m not the best at this! Here she is in her basket:

OMG is she is cutie and a lucky girl too!!! MORE PIX of that dolly!

Another...

She is just the sweetest lil thing, she was a very good traveler for the 6.5 hour drive back to Chicago yesterday. She has NO fear of Milo, and he loves her dearly already. He seems ecstatic to have a new friend, and they have even taken a few little naps at each others'' side today! He''s a good big bro--he is so gentle with her even though she''s climbing all over him and biting his ears when they play! OMG I could just eat her up.

Diamondfan: what a great idea to have tags made for each collar! I hadn''t even thought of that! We had to go to PetSmart today to get her a little pink nylon collar (with sparklies, of course) because the ones I''ve already purchased are too big.
2.gif
I couldn''t believe DH had no problem with pink...although I did make the comment: "what will you do if we have a baby girl? Not hold her if she''s dressed in pink?"
11.gif
I think he''s happy she''s a little girl and he gets to have a "daddy''s girl" puppy now!

daisymae2.JPG

I hope these aren''t too tiny...

Milo wanted to be right with her from the moment we brought her into the house in her crate, and they''re pretty much inseparable.

What a good big brother he is!!!

Close up of the too-big bling collar!

What a good big brother he is!!!
I know, and he looks HUMONGOUS compared to her! He''s almost 30 lbs. but very muscular and stout. She''s about hmmm, 3-4 lbs!

Here she is last night licking whatever remnants of adult Science Diet out of Milo''s dish, the little piggy! She eats her teeny little puppy chow and then tries to see what she can scavenge from his bowl!

daisymae5.JPG

Yay she''s looks very happy and sweet! I love her in basket! Too precious!
36.gif

So she''s "Daisy Mae" just like my avatar! Did you get that from my suggestion? If you did, I feel very special! And I''m going to tell my Daisy Mae that she inspired someone too.
2.gif
We do call ours just "Daisy" though, except when she''s in trouble!
3.gif

And here they are together in the basement--she has a big rawhide bone of Milo''s that she found right away and started on...I think she thinks she''s a grown dog already and not a tiny little puppy! Spunky, I''m telling you!

Lizzie, I didn''t realize yours was Daisy Mae too! I mean, I might have, but I don''t think I made the connection in my head until just now, LOL! I remember asking DH "what about Daisy Belle?" and he said no....so I said "what about Daisy Mae?" and he liked that. We will mainly call her just Daisy, though. I wanted that middle name for some reason...probably after seeing yours! So many great suggestions have been made on this thread and when I''ve asked people in person--it''s hard to keep things straight as far as who suggested what sometimes! But I think you definitely inspired me!

Here she is with a big piece of rawhide we unrolled a bit:

She''s just precious!

*M*

Hee hee...they make such a cute pair!

Daisy is sooooo cute, really glad she and Milo are getting along!!! He''s being such a great big brother. When I got Casper''s little sister, I told him I was getting him a new doggie. Had her bed all set up next to his, and bought new toys for the both of them to enjoy. When I brought Callie home she growled at him for a day, but it didn''t last past that. They are best friends, and am sure Daisy and Milo will be too. Enjoy your precious new puppy!!! I mean she just couldn''t be any more adorable!!!

OK, normally I would never post a picture of myself on here, but this is just too cute. Please excuse the p.j.''s, no makeup, and hair undone--this is me and my two babies snuggling in the basement around midnight last night, about 5 hrs. after I brought her home.

Aw thanks Kaleigh (Lisa, I never know what to call you LOL)! I remember your doggies from the "No Kitties Allowed" thread--they are so cute!
